Stumbled Upon this nifty online game from Verbatim, you get to make some crazy storage robot dudes and battle to the death, its very simple and most of the work is done for you, but its still pretty darn addictive- check it out now !!

At the beginning of November a colleague approached me about doing a clean cut simple set of pages to help promote his Baseball Cub following their recent success in the 2010 season.

Code wise it prob might not be up to scratch with that of an actual qualified Web Dev - but I did put a lot of effort into it, and all the code was built from scratch using a text editor only. Work on it had to be fitted around my full time job, so it took me a good 3 weeks on-and-off getting it to its final state after waiting on samples etc.. 

All in all im quite pleased with the turnout, and so is the client, so its doing the job well enough, and may still receive further improvements over time.

Aprilia Welding - Sorted

After asking around a few bike shops I got the address of a guy who could do some aluminum welding for me, so put the Caddy to some good use and got that sorted.

After that it was dropped down the MOT station where it went through first time, and got treated to a new battery. Next on the list is to sort my license and get her on the road - so im booked in for an assessment that will  decide which course I can take to get it on the 16th of Jan, so more to come on that then.

Mini World Action Day + New Head Gasket

 
So September saw us attending the last of the summer Mini Shows down in Wiltshire for the Mini World Action Day. 










 


After the track sessions round Castle Combe track were over, it was clear the head gasket had given up, so it was time to fit a new one...









Luckily I already had a spare skimmed/re-worked head thanks to a good friend, so it wasnt too big a job, and I took the chance to add a lick of paint too. Video of the first startup here

New Website

My good friend approached me and asked if I could stick a basic website together to go with his up and coming racing career.

So here it is for now ! Very basic, but covers the essentials for now. 

This was my first go at web design in a long time, and most is template based code wise, but updates will follow to slowly improve it.
